Mr. kenedeno, my 17 year old daughter has told me that Gabe Rivas made a dirty advance toward her while she was in the del mar parking lot. I have went to the college president and he laughed at me. My daughter has dropped out of school as a result of this. What should we do? Witnesses were present. Please help

As I understand from insiders close to the Sexual Harrassment Civil Rights allegations at Del Mar College, Theresa Cox is on administrative leave under the whistleblowers act. Her position or imposition has placed her at odds with administration, Board of Regents Officials and the President of the University Carlos Garcia. Rumblings from the Board of Regents suggest a turmoil from within this elite group. Sources suggest a resignation of Bill Chriss is forthcoming as he is pursuing a teaching position at the University of Texas. Although he cites his reason for stepping down as the UT Teaching position one must question the motives and ask why now Bill? As I understand, Mr Chriss has held this UT position for some time which IMO exclaims Mr Chriss does not want any part of the corruption and is dissociating himself from the Elite Del Mar Board of Regents. I would like to think his public service will continue. Perhaps a de-throning of one of our elitist County Commisioners such as Cazalas (who even mainstream republicans loathe)? As the rumblings begin to spill out of the Board Room it should be noted that the name Jacob Munoz (a convenient token) is the Del Mar Board of Regents' most notable man for the JOB. I must ask the average citizen to think back and ask themselves WATT has Jacob Munoz done for the average citizen. WATT has he done for the hispanic community?
Now back to Carlos Garcia; I know his position is to defend the institution of higher learning and I know of his scoffing, condescending and demeaning acts of playing dumb. This is insignifigant when compared to the aggressive campaigns directed at the victims who meet with him in the privacy of his office. Mr Garcia, it is not a student's fault that you or your faculty is "going through a mid life crisis". It is not the right of faculty or Board members to use the student body as a harem from which to choose companionship; but quite the contrary.
On to the GSA and the MONEY. WATT did Donna Strong do to censor the article revealing Carlos Garcia and the misappropriation of club money?
Itis only a matter of time before it all catches up to you and your kind at Del Mar Mr Garcia.

I think this case has a very much better chance once it is out of South Texas. After all wasn't it the judge in Austin that ruled to exhume Kenedy's body. I was glad to read that Dr. Fernandez will continue on with appeals. I wish him and his family well.

I agree. This is about what is best for the case and not what is best for Jaime, dannoynted nor Defenzor. This case not only deals with the Fernandez family, but also the way Mexican Americans have been treated here in South Texas ever since the gringo came to this region and the effects it has left on how we treat each other.

I have known the Fernandez for a long time and know for a fact what you say is not true. I've always gotten paid for the work I've done for them and continue to do. I've never have had any problems with him nor his wife.

that they screwed over Mark & Maggie, El Defenzor, Craig Smith, Steven Boyd, Ramone Garcia, Lucinda Juarez, Ann's sister (Mary Rowland's adopted daughter), Esparanza Kenedy & her offspring, Catherine D Unger and South Texas as well. There is pending litigation relating to some of these names. Do some homework. Nobody believes in your sorry a$$ family anymore Marie. Now who is hustling who? All you gotta do is apologize and sign a little piece of paper. Remember Marie, cant lose WATT you dont got. Tell Billy we see him from afar. Theresa Cox — Del Mar College dean of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, Equity, Access and Compliance was placed on paid administrative leave from the college after she and several students made allegations that President Carlos Garcia of Del Mar made sexually advances toward them. Before she was let go on this past tuesday, Gabe Rivas- President of the Del Mar College Board of Regents, got together with DMC President Carlos Garcia, Gambi Gamboa- LULAC Council 1 member, and Henry Gorhorm- LULAC Council 1 member, to make a deal. The deal that was made was that LULAC Council 1 would not get involved with the sexual harassment allegations toward the college president carlos garcia which were made by Teresa Cox the EEOCC Officer and by several students and employees. In return, Del Mar College President Carlos Garcia would hire LULAC Council 1 member Henry Gorham as the new EEOCC officer at Del Mar College. Gabe Rivas is a snake. Gambi Gamboa is also a snake. It is rumored that LULAC Council 1 President Nick Adame was also present. Hmmmmm, i wondering what type of deal Gabe Rivas- the president of the Del Mar College Board of Regents, is going to make with LULAC Council 4444, NAACP, and the American G I Forum to cover up these sexual harassment issues by this alleged sexual preditor carlos garcia?
